Winter Program – Curated by Carlos Casas
Opening with a lecture by independent researcher and anthropologist Laura Tripaldi, the September 2023/February 2024 semester is titled “Co-Ecologies”.
The program addresses issues related to the Anthropocene, envisioning a not-so-distant future in which the human race will become aware of its co-dependence with the environment, and cooperation between different disciplines will provide new solutions to the stagnation resulting from the climate crisis. The biological, geological and ecological processes that the latest technologies and contemporary artistic practices are using to devise alternative ways of life and coexistence on our planet will be debated throughout the semester.
